1.      2025/2026 Minutes approved

2.      Election of Officials, Chairman Dave Swindells, League Secretary Jan Mottram, Treasurer Louise Turner, Committee Members Jonah Fallon & Scott Parkinson – Proposed By Eddie Dicker and Seconded by Dean Baldwin

3.      Treasurers report – read out by Louise Turner, agreed by Mark Dicker and seconded by Zoe Johnston

 

Proposals

1.      Scrap the Team Game- proposed by Dean Baldwin, amendment scrap team game and use Summer League format voted 8 for and 3 against motion carried.

2.      Change pairs and Triples games to best of 3 for A Section Men – proposed by Dean Baldwin amendment Pairs 501 and triples 701 best of 3 legs unanimous vote for motion carried.

3.      Make ladies pairs & Triples game a blind draw Proposed by Louise Turner unanimous vote for motion carried.

4.      Should we allow the use of Omni Boards Proposed by Jan Mottram – Unanimous against omni boards can only be used by manually inputting the score.

5.      Should we allow a prompter helping the player to get to a finish – Proposed by Jan Mottram – 1 Prompter can be nominated from your team for each leg this cannot be the scorer, unanimous vote motion carried.

 

New scoring for both Men’s A&B Section, A Section play Pairs and Triples best of 3  B Section play pairs and triples just 1 leg each.

Triples game – 2 points

Singles per leg – 1 point

Total number of points 21 per match

Proposal 1.
Ladies A & B sections to play 501 in their singles game – Vote carried

Proposal 2.
No head start for ladies B Section in competitions – Vote carried

Proposal 3.
 Men’s introduction of least darts and highest finish –  voted no to least darts, yes to highest finish this will become the Phil McNamara trophy donated to the league, Shirt club have offered to donate a trophy for the B section

Proposal 4.
 New format it was agreed for Men and Ladies A Section to play same games but all legs played in the singles and the scoring to change to – Team Game 1pt, Doubles 1pt, Triples 1pt and 1pt for each leg won.

Proposal 4.
Remove Seeds – Proposed J Fallon vote was in favour seeds now removed.

Proposal 5.
Blind Draw to be scrapped and captains to choose their players – Not agreed blind draw for singles will continue.

Proposal 6.
Any money not claimed at Presentation night will go back into the league, it is acceptable to arrange for someone else to pick up on your behalf or let the secretary know.

Reminder that Ernie Yates Triples fund raising event will take place at the Queen Anne on Saturday 18th November 2023, 7.30 registration, all are welcome, teams can be all male, all female or mixed and can be made up from different teams. Please bring some cash as there will be a raffle on the night and feel free to donate any prizes for the raffle, these can be given to League Secretary or dropped off at the Queen Anne.
